"The name also parralels with the asian word for "island"." I haven't deleted this, but I was never aware of a language called "asian"!-PlasmaDragon 22:11, 15 Oct 2004 (UTC)

The name Ashima also occurs in an epic poem from China namley in the Shilin Yi Autonomous County in, Shilin of Yunnan Province and the poem is attributed to the the Sani people who are a tributary of the Yi ethnic group. In the chinese poem the word or name Ashima literally means “more precious than gold”, —Preceding unsigned comment added by 85.228.188.165 (talk) 19:10, 10 September 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Changing to WP:DAB Page?

[edit]

The article already offers a redirect to Ashima (poem) but there is also an Ashima Bhalla, an Ashima Shiraishi, and an Ashima Takis. Would this be better off as a disambiguation page with links to the 5 existing Ashima's and the content relocated to Ashima (Goddess)? Storeye (talk) 04:47, 23 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]
