Perseus LLC?

[edit]

Is this the same James Johnson now (2004) vice-chair of Perseus LLC, member of Council on Foreign Relations, significant Kerry fundraiser in the recent election cycle? If so, that belongs in the article. -- Jmabel | Talk 06:36, Dec 1, 2004 (UTC)

He is also a member of Steering Comittee for Bilderberg.

Economic Adviser for Obama?

[edit]

I did some looking online, and could only find unsubstantiated blog posts that claim that Johnson was an economic adviser for Obama. I see plenty of evidence that he originally worked on his VP search, but nothing reputable regarding the claim that he is an economic adviser for Obama. I am going to remove this claim from the summary. Please add it back in with citations if you can find one. Ozy42 (talk) 20:14, 18 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

The book Reckless endangerment tracks the start of the GFC to James johnson's managment team at Fannie Mae. The book covers Johnsons close relationship ato Countrywide mortgages and the entire process of financial greed and recklessness that Johnson pursued to create the wave of financial badhealth that seems to have touched almost every nation. The financial ffraud at Fannie Mae for which prosecutions whre made, Johnson seems to have miracously avoided.101Moonlight101 (talk) 10:38, 5 August 2011 (UTC)[reply]

"Businessman"

[edit]

I propose to move this page. This guy is clearly not a businessman. Any suggestions for what to move it to? How about "James A. Johnson (politics)"? — Preceding unsigned comment added by Cagliost (talkcontribs) 09:31, 22 December 2011 (UTC)[reply]
