A step in the right direction! Glad to see someone else working to turn WarHammer articles into somethign other than a plaigarized distilling of the army books!

An editor has nominated one or more articles which you have created or worked on, for deletion. The nominated article is Voluntary Human Extinction Movement. We appreciate your contributions, but the nominator doesn't believe that the article satisfies Wikipedia's criteria for inclusion and has explained why in his/her nomination (see also Wikipedia:Notability and "What Wikipedia is not").

Your opinions on whether the article meets inclusion criteria and what should be done with the article are welcome; please participate in the discussion(s) by adding your comments to Wikipedia:Articles for deletion/Voluntary Human Extinction Movement (2nd nomination). Please be sure to sign your comments with four tildes (~~~~).

You may also edit the article during the discussion to improve it but should not remove the articles for deletion template from the top of the article; such removal will not end the deletion debate.

Please note: This is an automatic notification by a bot. I have nothing to do with this article or the deletion nomination, and can't do anything about it. --Erwin85Bot (talk) 01:05, 28 April 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Please stop lowercasing. All marsupial articles are uppercased. See WP:BIRD for the rationale. - UtherSRG (talk) 06:48, 15 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

CfD nomination of Category:Documentaries

[edit]

I have nominated Category:Documentaries (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs) for renaming to Category:Documentary (edit | talk | history | links | watch | logs). Your opinions on the matter are welcome; please participate in the discussion by adding your comments at the discussion page. Thank you. Shawn in Montreal (talk) 02:43, 16 May 2010 (UTC)[reply]

I noticed that you have revised either Sid Meier's Alpha Centauri or Sid Meier's Alien Crossfire.

I intend to revise those articles following the Wikipedia:WikiProject Video games/Article guidelines. There are more details on the discussion pages of those articles. I'd be interested in any comments you have. It would be best if your comments were on the discussion pages of the two articles.

Thank you.

You are now a Reviewer

[edit]

Hello. Your account has been granted the "reviewer" userright, allowing you to review other users' edits on certain flagged pages. Pending changes, also known as flagged protection, is currently undergoing a two-month trial scheduled to end 15 August 2010.

Reviewers can review edits made by users who are not autoconfirmed to articles placed under pending changes. Pending changes is applied to only a small number of articles, similarly to how semi-protection is applied but in a more controlled way for the trial. The list of articles with pending changes awaiting review is located at Special:OldReviewedPages.

When reviewing, edits should be accepted if they are not obvious vandalism or BLP violations, and not clearly problematic in light of the reason given for protection (see Wikipedia:Reviewing process). More detailed documentation and guidelines can be found here.

If you do not want this userright, you may ask any administrator to remove it for you at any time. Courcelles (talk) 18:33, 17 June 2010 (UTC)[reply]

Hi. When you recently edited Mussie, you added a link pointing to the disambiguation page Seal (check to confirm | fix with Dab solver). Such links are almost always unintended, since a disambiguation page is merely a list of "Did you mean..." article titles. Read the FAQ • Join us at the DPL WikiProject.

You may want to look and comment at Template talk:MW 1935, where there is concern that although the 1935 Modern World Encyclopaedia is out of copyright in the UK, it may still be in copyright in the US, where Wikipedia's servers are located. If articles use text that was copied from the source, then this could be a problem.Nigel Ish (talk) 10:13, 16 February 2014 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. ZayZay, the captain of Swissair Flight 111 actually is Urs Zimmerman. So, I added that back in. Evancahill (talk) 00:24, 25 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Don't disagree. But the captain is not notable nor do they have a page. Imagine if the article on the surname existed every person with that last name who was not notable in their own right?--ZayZayEM (talk) 07:41, 25 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]
I know, but not everything has a page. Meanwhile, a bunch of things are notable for disambiguation pages. For example just go to the disambiguation page for Anything Goes. There is a song listed there that has no page. Evancahill (talk) 03:58, 27 January 2016 (UTC)[reply]

Hello, because of an edit war on And you are lynching Negroes, and an on-going stalemate on its talk page, I am going through and notifying people who have previously worked on the article, and are still somewhat active to comment on the current state of the page. It is my intent to improve the quality of the discussion by broadening participation to more fully achieve consensus. Thank you. --evrik (talk) 19:00, 15 December 2016 (UTC)[reply]
