Hello again

[edit]

Hello everyone, I'm sorry for the multiple account, but let me tell you about that image. That image isn't a regular mugshot, as you can see it was taken from an angle and with me smiling when the others are looking dumb with a head filling the entire picture and looking straight ahead ([1]. I actually took the picture at a private photo shop and then supplied the image to them, which is why the picture looked different.

But I never knew about that law enforcement web site was shocked when I saw the photograph and everything on thw site. I didn't know that they would put sex offenders' personal information on the Internet, and I think that this violates and invades into one's very own personal privacy. Calles loco first discovered the site and abused the web site to harass someone. I uploaded the image onto Wikipedia but I never knew that the California government web site was hosting the very same picture. Whether the image is now mine or is owned by the government even if I own the photo, I don't know. I really don't want to further complicate and prolong matters, so just delete the image as soon as possible, if it isn't already deleted, as it really is unnecessary and I don't have eternity to resolve problems on Wikipedia.

I deleted everything from my user page and talk page because I don't want this Calles loco vandal matter to come back to everybody's minds again or take other people's precious time away, and I don't want the picture anymore. I'm off to a new start. My current account is temporary - you may suspend or block it anytime. I am just using it to clarify and explain things because my main account is blocked. If you don't like rapists around Wikipedia, that's fine with me. I will create a new account under another user name. I will not reply to this talk page again, and the Ken Bogan account and my current one will be abandoned.

Thank you for your cooperation and concern in this matter. I appreciate your sincerity and courtesy. Thank you again. - KB Temporary 05:30, 21 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Whomever you are, to say that I found the above explanation scarcely plausible, as well as highly distorted, is a gross understatement. Oh well. El_C 00:40, 22 Apr 2005 (UTC)

Interested in an L.A.-area Wiki meetup?

[edit]

It appears as though L.A. has never had a Wiki meetup. Would you be interested in attending such an event? If so, checkout User:Eric Shalov/Wikimeetup

Jimbo Wales to Attend San Diego Meetup on October 18 2005

[edit]

Hello, Jimbo Wales will be in San Diego to attend OOPSLA and has agreed to come by and visit with the San Diego wikipedians. If you are interested, you will find more info on my talk page. Johntex\talk 00:54, 13 October 2005 (UTC)[reply]

First off, I apologize for the spam. You are receiving this message because you have indicated that you are in Southern California or interested in Southern California topics (either via category or WikiProject).

I would like to invite you to the Los Angeles edition of Wikipedia:Wikipedia Loves Art, a photography scavenger hunt to be held at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) on Saturday, February 28, 2009, from 1:00 to 7:00 PM. All photos are intended for use in Wikipedia articles or on Wikimedia Commons. There will be a prize available for the person who gets the most photos on the list.

If you don't like art, why not come just to meet your fellow Wikipedians. Apparently, we haven't had a meetup in this area since June 2006!

If you are interested in attending, please add your name to Wikipedia:Wikipedia Loves Art#Los Angeles County Museum of Art. Please make a note if you are traveling to the area (train or plane) and need transportation, which can probably be arranged via carpool, but we need time to coordinate. Lodging is as of right now out of scope, but we could discuss that if enough people are interested.

Thank you and I hope to see you there! howcheng {chat} 00:06, 10 January 2009 (UTC)[reply]
