Kosovo Polje to Fushë Kosova
[edit]The name Kosovo Polje was before 1999, when Kosovo was freed from Serb conqueror, the name changed to Fushë Kosovë

- Kosovo Polje is in serbian language, in this city 86.9% are albanians and 0.9% are serbs so the city must be in albanian language
- Kosovo Polje is the 2nd name of city according to the constitution of Kosovo, respecting the Serbian language, which is the secondary language in Kosovo.
I will move this page to Fushë Kosova because these facts are from reliable source, in accordance with the rules of Wikipedia.

- No, you are not allowed just to move article, as that is not normal way of communication. You incredible political bias is already clear in you first sentence, so it would be best if you can just step away from this article, as wikipedia should not be used as political battleground, but as a neutral encyclopedia. --Ąnαșταη (ταlκ) 10:35, 20 August 2016 (UTC)

The argumentation of Hakuli is not to understand, but I support the moving to Fushë Kosova. The english literature used more often Fushë Kosova [1][2][3] Also, the local population contains (Municipality: 34.872, 30.275 Albanians (86,8 %), 321 Serbs (0,9 %; City: 12.919, 12.295 Albanians (95,2 %), 48 Serbs (0,4 %)) That is a tribute to move the article to Fushë Kosova. Kind regards --ElmedinRKS (talk) 23:30, 10 August 2018 (UTC)
- In this diff the RM discussion was closed as "not moved" to Fushe Kosova because
Fairly clear that Kosovo Polje is the WP:COMMONNAME, despite incorrect claims to the contrary.
I am objected to renaming based on the consensus reached at that discussion.--Antidiskriminator (talk) 21:44, 17 August 2018 (UTC)

- I do not understand the english Wikipedia, it is to consider the argue that the city have a albanian majority. I would not like to interrupt/starting edit-war and would say: do not move back the article name. Could you clarify for what WP:COMMONNAME is? There is not described anything for names of cities in this case. --ElmedinRKS (talk) 21:58, 17 August 2018 (UTC)
- Mate Belgrade has Serbian majority and yet name in English is derived from Bulgarian name for this city (Belgrad), but not Beograd which is Serbina name and yet no one minds since Belgrade is common name, so I do not know what's there not to be understood. This is just an example, but of course I encourage you to have your own attitude toward this and at the same time you should try to understand other approaches. Cheers. --S T E V A N (talk) 16:44, 8 September 2018 (UTC)
