Over the top?

[edit]

Surely OTT is also an abreviation of over the top. Origination from the First world war when it meant to go over the top of the trenches during an attack on the enemy. It has come to mean excessive behaviour.--Alun 11:10, 15 May 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Over the top?

[edit]

Nope. Ott is his real name. It's short for something... but that's TOP SECRET!

Dose Anyone have any more information about OTT ?

His blog - http://twisted.co.uk/artists/ott/ - strangely twisted have done away with anything resembling normal bios. Stevekeiretsu 00:10, 13 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

More info

[edit]

I will soon provide more information about him...

Ott was born on October 3rd 1937 in Swansea. He's a hermit who drinks far too much tea and should wash his trousers more often! It's a little known fact that his first band named 'Spectrum RAM Pack' were Regional Heats finalists for Eurovision 1992. Their song was 'The Protochicken came first!', which was an evolutionary biological answer to the philosophical conumdrum 'Which came first the chicken or the egg?' The band, all 37.5 of them (1 amputee trombonist and a timpanist dwarf comprising the fraction) were all dressed as chicken. Ott himself, playing the waterphone, was cutting a dash as a Buff Orpington cockerel. The band were however disqualified after Ott gored Terry Wogan's shins with his spurs. - Guess who :-) —Preceding unsigned comment added by 88.111.83.135 (talk) 11:32, 3 December 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Spear Carrier

[edit]

Ott does NOT mean spear carrier in German. What the hell is a spear carrier? I looked up "Ott" in the german Wikipedia and they don't even have it except for a surname. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.14.100.170 (talk) 03:37, 3 September 2007 (UTC)[reply]
