Gundam 0083 deals with the postwar reconstruction effort by the Earth Federal Forces, or EFF for short. During this reconstruction, the Federation violates the Antartic Treaty by creating a Mobile Suit with the ability to launch a nuclear weapon. To expose this breach of trust, one of the last remaing Pricipality fleets hijacks the mobile suit, and in a two part operation, eliminates much of the federations space force while similtaniously setting up a colony drop. The show is considered one of the best for action, and sets the stage for Z Gundam by discussing the operation that formed the Titans.
