Talk page

[edit]

Hey, I've archived my old comments. There were only a few of them, and they were placed here long before anyone really threaded/categorized their comments on talk pages.

I've further decided to do this so I can start off with a clean slate, since I've been recently on a flurry of editing again, and, who knows, someone might comment here.

Just so you know

CyclePat is trying to make yet another attempt to merge moped into motorized bicycles. Please comment at Talk:Motorized bicycle. The thing is...his grand plan is to make the motorized bike article so bloated so that he can create a separate electric bicycle article since he makes...electric bicycles. The thing is...scooters, mopeds, motorcycles and motorized bike are all separate. I wish he'd quit. He's a pain. --Woohookitty(cat scratches) 16:52, 7 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the comment.

[edit]

I created a stub page for the Argus C3 a while ago and hope it can be refined into a useful article... I was amazed that there wasn't already a page for the world's most popular rangefinder camera. I also wrote the stub page for the Babetta moped, among other things. PS: as an interesting note reguarding the above comment, in my state motorized bicycles and mopeds are legally classed together. Disputed fair use rationale for Image:Seahorses Do It Yourself cover.jpg

[edit]

Thanks for uploading Image:Seahorses Do It Yourself cover.jpg. However, there is a concern that the rationale you have provided for using this image under "fair use" may be invalid. Please read the instructions at Wikipedia:Non-free content carefully, then go to the image description page and clarify why you think the image qualifies for fair use. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to ensure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If it is determined that the image does not qualify under fair use, it will be deleted within a couple of days according to our criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the media copyright questions page. Thank you.BetacommandBot (talk) 08:09, 21 January 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Your user page

[edit]

Hello, I found your user page while doing some wikiarchaeology. . I have restored all of its earliest surviving revisions from old copies of the Wikipedia database, so they are available to everyone now. Hope you don't mind. Graham87 08:36, 25 June 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page.
