Hello

[edit]

Hello. Your articles analysis of resistive circuits and basic soldering techniques prompt these tips: (1) Don't use so many capital letters. I moved both articles, so that they don't use extra capital letters in their titles. Conventionally, Wikipedia article titles don't capitalized initial letters just because they're in an article title. Sometimes links don't word because of this; e.g., Analysis of Widgets may fail to work while analysis of widgets points to an existing article. The first letter is always rendered as capital, but, unlike the later letters, is case-insensitive, so you don't need to capitalize it in links. Also, notice how you create section headings, which will appear in a table of contents if there are enough of them:

Hello
(That is how I created the "Hello" section heading above.)

Nested within those sections may be second-tier sections:

Me too
See the table of contents that now exists in analysis of resistive circuits, and also the section headings in basic soldering techniques. Michael Hardy 21:06, 18 Sep 2004 (UTC)

Unverified images

[edit]

Hi! Thanks for uploading the following image:

I notice it currently doesn't have an image copyright tag. Could you add one to let us know its copyright status? (You can use gfdl if you release it under the GNU Free Documentation License, fairuse if you claim fair use, etc.) If you don't know what any of this means, just let me know at my talk page where you got the images and I'll tag them for you. Thanks so much. Peter O. (Talk, automation script) 05:32, Dec 11, 2004 (UTC)

P.S. You can help tag other images at User:Yann/Untagged_Images. Thanks again.

Also, please tag:

image + wikiproject electronics

[edit]

Hi, I just started the wikiproject about electronics and, at the moment, I am most concerned about finding (and suggesting on the project's page) a programme to draw circuits. I wanted to ask you which programme you used to draw this picture: Image:Delta_wye_circ.PNG. Then, if you don't mind, we would like you to express your opinion about the programme you used in the "drawing circuits" section of the project page. Moreover: why don't you put that image on Commons?? bye Alessio Damato 14:56, 21 September 2005 (UTC)[reply]

Kalesa

[edit]
 • Hi, I think you started the article on Kalesa, but if not, please disregard this message. But if so, I'm just wondering if you can cite a source for kalesa being a Tagalog word. My source says it's from Old Church Slavonic and predates the Spanish conquest of the Philippines. I'll be changing it for now and citing my source. If you have a source for this that you can cite please add that theory of the etymology to the page and cite your source. Gracias, adios.--Hraefen 00:15, 18 December 2005 (UTC)[reply]
