time to split?

[edit]

I think it's time to split "paintbrush" out from the general "brush" article. There are many specialty kinds of paintbrushes and more detail that can be gone into. -- phoebe / (talk to me) 00:21, 4 March 2015 (UTC)[reply]

The history section is ridiculous

[edit]

Referenceless "branches used to sweep" which is a broom I believe. Then something about a factory in NY. Well people were making brushes in shops in the US long before the mid nineteenth. So the factory reference really tells more about social and industrial organizational development than anything having to do with a brush. It's obvious that someone recognized the need for a history section but then simply didn't do the work. 162.154.248.143 (talk) 13:37, 12 July 2023 (UTC)[reply]
