The Book of Counted Sorrows is refered to by Terry Goodkind in his "Truth of the Sword" series. The first book, "Wizard's First Rule", Terry Goodkind (the author) has the main character memorizing the Book of Counted Sorrows. It is refered to often in the series. One would wonder which Book of Counted Sorrows came first, King's or Goodkind's - or where either of them got the idea.

Sorry, but the book the character has to memorize in Goodkind's series is "The Book of Counted Shadows", not "Sorrows". Msauers 21:20, 1 November 2005 (UTC)[reply]
