Come on, how many casual browsers will understand "pre-Code" in the first line? The rest is good and informative now. --KF 01:21, 7 Aug 2003 (UTC)

The link was Spam as it is to a commercial site selling the book noting the ISBN would be reasonable. --Nate1481( t/c) 15:09, 1 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I wondered about that myself. I think it should come out, and if someone's got a cite for it, they can put it back with the ref. Ed Fitzgerald (unfutz) (talk / cont) 20:09, 11 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Looking at it again, I see that I took out the reference to "nude" earlier, and left in "posed for camera clubs." Perhaps that implies nudity? Probably so, so I'll remove it. Ed Fitzgerald (unfutz) (talk / cont) 20:13, 11 March 2008 (UTC)[reply]

I was on ebay about a year ago and searched "Joan Blondell". There was someone selling a picture that he claimed was Joan Blondell topless. From what I saw of the picture, it didn't look like her. Maybe vahuely but I wasn't convinced. But anyway, someone is definitely out there trying to sell supposedly "nude Joan Blondell" pictures. —Preceding unsigned comment added by Supertrav77 (talkcontribs) 03:16, 7 May 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Need a Better Headshot

[edit]

The opening photograph is not only blurry but doesn't even look like her; she was a gorgeous woman. We need to fix this. Upsmiler (talk) 02:57, 2 October 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Dates

[edit]

First paragraph under "Early Life" states that Joan Blondell's father was born in Indiana in 1906, which is the year in which Joan was born.

name change

[edit]

There was a name change edit from Rose Joan to Joan Rose. The reason for the change wasn't explained, and there are no sources that suggest that was her name. While there are some that suggest the original arrangement was correct http://www.ibdb.com/person.php?id=32322. Reverting the change. -Xcuref1endx (talk) 05:16, 22 October 2014 (UTC)[reply]
