Appointment
[edit]The Council of the European Union is mentioned at least twice as it relates to appointment of the Commission, but I can find no mention of this body involvement in nomination/appointment in the actually Treaty of the European Union. Can someone clarify this? As far as I can tell, only the European Council is involved. If the Council of the EU is involved, in what configuration would it even meet?
