Can we merge this into the article for Royal Roads University? This article is pretty stubby as is, and doesn't need to stand on its own. Darkcore 06:58, 18 Dec 2004 (UTC)

>Can we merge this into the article for RRU
No.

Royal Roads University is *not* repeat *not* RRMC [period]

As for the stubbyness, I'm working on it.

I'd have to agree, RRMC was it's own college, and wasn't part of RRU. --Spinboy 01:40, 5 Mar 2005 (UTC)
  • I realize that they're different, obviously. But the article is pretty unsubstantive. Darkcore 03:44, 5 Mar 2005 (UTC)

>I'd have to agree, RRMC was it's own college
As a point of clarification, RRMC closed as a full fledge University. No rath on this, RMC Kingston is stilled believed to be only a college by many.

Read the article about Royal Military College of Canada and you'll see the Province of Ontario gave it degree-granting powers. --Spinboy 03:31, 9 Mar 2005 (UTC)

This article needs to have a more neutral tone. For instance, the words "beautiful" and "proudly" could be purged. Ronstew 18:36, 19 September 2006 (UTC)[reply]

The list of notable graduates needs to be pared down. I am essentially repeating a comment that was made on the Royal Military College page. Any RRMC graduate could come through here and list most of their class. --Dcowan38 (talk) 17:50, 29 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

I've tightened the list to those people who were listed who appeared to be truly notable. That is not to dismiss anyone's success as an author, business person, etc. but the list shouldn't be a 'where are they now' list. --Dcowan38 (talk) 18:04, 29 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

RRMC cadets did not have to memorize the 'Old 18' during the 80's. LaSalle flight had to memorize the original few (ten?). The Old 18 reference was lifted directly from the Royal Military College of Canada article. There was no Freedom of the Fort at RRMC. There was no "shouldering professors" at RRMC. It is possible that all these things started in the 1990's, just prior to closing. If they cannot be verified as applying to RRMC, they should be removed.Dcowan38 (talk) 18:14, 29 November 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Fair use rationale for Image:Rrmccrest.gif

[edit]

Image:Rrmccrest.gif is being used on this article. I notice the image page specifies that the image is being used under fair use but there is no explanation or rationale as to why its use in this Wikipedia article constitutes fair use. In addition to the boilerplate fair use template, you must also write out on the image description page a specific explanation or rationale for why using this image in each article is consistent with fair use.

Please go to the image description page and edit it to include a fair use rationale. Using one of the templates at Wikipedia:Fair use rationale guideline is an easy way to insure that your image is in compliance with Wikipedia policy, but remember that you must complete the template. Do not simply insert a blank template on an image page.

If there is other fair use media, consider checking that you have specified the fair use rationale on the other images used on this page. Note that any fair use images lacking such an explanation can be deleted one week after being tagged, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. If you have any questions please ask them at the Media copyright questions page. Thank you.

This makes them difficult to see. Is this the best possible presentation? 99.229.34.174 (talk) 20:40, 1 October 2022 (UTC)[reply]
