3RR

[edit]

Coolmoon, you appear to have violated the 3RR rule at David Myatt. In case you haven't been warned about this before, we're not allowed to revert to a previous version of a page (in whole or in part, and that can refer to as little as one part of one sentence) more than three times in 24 hours. If you do, you may be reported on WP:AN/3RR and blocked for up to 24 hours without warning. See Wikipedia:Three revert rule for more information. Cheers, SlimVirgin (talk) 06:15, August 18, 2005 (UTC)

Your note

[edit]

You're very welcome, and thanks for the thanks. :-) I'll take another look at the Amazon link. My idea was just to link to the page and let people see for themselves. SlimVirgin (talk) 06:22, 7 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

ONA article

[edit]

Someone slapped a few Wikiwarnings on the ONA article recently. Seems they don't like the blatant overuse of first-party sources.

Since you posted a couple years ago about a couple larger conference papers on the topic of the ONA, do you think it would be possible to re-write this article using fewer direct references to ONA materials, and more references to third-party work? Frankly I don't want the article turning into a frickin' fanpage, and though I reverted away this person's wikiwarnings (because I'm not going to allow anyone to AfD my article ever again), they do have a point - most of the assertions about "ONA beliefs" and history are coming off their/his own writings, and that cheapens this article. AllGloryToTheHypnotoad (talk) 16:48, 29 March 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for the info. I've gone and done a rewrite. Coolmoon (talk) 22:39, 19 April 2012 (UTC)[reply]

GAN for the ONA article

[edit]

Hello Coolmoon. Thank you for your recent addition of page numbers to the Order of Nine Angles article. I think that it might be time to send it to Good Article nomination, so if you don't have any objections I shall go ahead and do that in the coming days? Best, Midnightblueowl (talk) 10:37, 28 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, thanks for the message. I fully support you so nominating the O9A article as it now is, and would like to thank you once again for all your work without which the article would never have reached this stage. Coolmoon (talk) 10:59, 28 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]
Thank you Coolmoon, I shall do so. Best, Midnightblueowl (talk) 11:05, 28 September 2015 (UTC)[reply]

Hi,
You appear to be eligible to vote in the current Arbitration Committee election. The Arbitration Committee is the panel of editors responsible for conducting the Wikipedia arbitration process. It has the authority to enact binding solutions for disputes between editors, primarily related to serious behavioural issues that the community has been unable to resolve. This includes the ability to impose site bans, topic bans, editing restrictions, and other measures needed to maintain our editing environment. The arbitration policy describes the Committee's roles and responsibilities in greater detail. If you wish to participate, you are welcome to review the candidates' statements and submit your choices on the voting page. A goat for you!

[edit]

Thanks for working so hard on the Order of Nine Angles page, Coolmoon! 18 years editing the same O9A-related articles, that's some serious dedication! Hope all of us wikipedians can work together to make this site a better and more objective place.
