notes

[edit]

Added the discography. I realise the broken links may look ugly, whoops. -- Sy / (talk) 05:39, 29 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Finally settled with Doro (band). Neither Doro nor Doro Pesch are quite appropriate. =) -- Sy / (talk) 14:01, 30 Jan 2005 (UTC)

Doro Pesch needs to be redesigned to describe the person, and the appropriate info from Doro needs to be moved there. All in good time. -- Sy / (talk) 05:50, 31 Jan 2005 (UTC)

other albums

[edit]

These are not mentioned in the official biographical timeline but I found them on some website somewhere. I'll note them here just for reference. Perhaps someone who can source the info could add them back to the discography with reference links:

discography

[edit]

I'm moving my list here to clean up my own notes. If a gnome comes along, perhaps this list could be integrated nicely into the individual album pages. -- Sy / (talk) 15:16, 24 June 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Tommy Henriksen

[edit]

As the only one of the band members (except Doro herself), The bassist is both listed as ex-Member on Doro and ex-Member on Warlock, and, if correct, he is the SECOND one to come from Warlock and the article should be changed. -andy 92.229.83.141 (talk) 01:38, 16 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Doro (band)

[edit]

I believe Doro isn't a band, only a stage name of Doro Pesch and the band members are only members of her support band. I mean, all album covers since Force Majeure feature only Doro Pesch. This article should be moved to Doro Pesch, or, what seems even more appropriate, to Doro (singer) or Doro (musician). Or, if you want to consider Doro a band, a separate articles for Doro (band) and Doro Pesch should be created. Ostalocutanje (talk)

Duett?

[edit]

Hello ... Just found omething weird - In the article is written she performed with udo dirkschneider a duett of the song “walking with the angels“. Is this true? I know she performed with him a duett of judas priests “breaking the law“ - released on the classic diamonds album. She performed also a duett of the song “walking with the angels“ - but with the former nightwish singer tarya terunnen - released on the album “fear no evil“. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 213.39.189.137 (talk) 05:40, 18 June 2011 (UTC)[reply]

Non-free material

[edit]

The article contains two non-free music clips, used to identify the styles performed by the artist and commented in the text. The clips include proper non-free rationales and commentary. The other non-free material is a movie poster, used to comment the artist secondary career as an actress. It also includes a proper non-free rationale and commentary in the article. Therefore I don't think to have exceeded any limit of non-free material in an article or to have violated Wikipedian policy about non-free material. I am waiting for a review which can clarify any oter violation. Lewismaster (talk) 21:45, 14 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Hi, I will start the review soon. JayJayWhat did I do? 22:42, 20 January 2013 (UTC)[reply]

Quick Comments

[edit]

I see the article has a tag at the top claiming it has an excessive or improper use of non-free media, I see no problems though so you can remove the tag. References number 11 and 13 the websites no longer exist so that should be taken care of that. In the section Doro in Europe (1991-1999), the sentence in the first paragraph says "which contains several ballads and has a very intimate and bluesy feel" I would get rid of that because it does not have a neutral view. Also in the same section paragraph 3 starts off 'Returned in the US after the European tour,' re-word it, confusing. Also paragraph 5 in the same section starts off 'She signed a worldwide contract with the major record label WEA' replace She with Doro. Other than that there is no other issues.
