  • The Law of Fives Is the title of a five-book epic poem, currently complete to two books. The title of the story refers to a principle of Discordianism, which states that all things are indirectly related to the number five, and this is reflected in the iambic pentameter and groupings of five lines per stanza and five stanzas per canto.

  • The Law of Fives Is also the title of a poem based loosely on this principle. The first two parts of the poem can be found at 1 and 2.

I hope the combinatorial implications of five as a number of co-conspirators (as described in Illuminatus!) find their way into the article. I will effect this if necessary, probably in a month or so.
