Ambiguity

[edit]

"Assault is typically treated as a misdemeanor and not as a felony (unless it involves a law enforcement officer)."

Does it matter how the law enforcement officer was involved? That is to ask, is it a felony if the law enforcement officer is the accused?

Yes, Men Can Be Raped

Yes, Men Can Be Raped

All though a large percentage of rapists are men, there are some male rape victims out there in the world. Male rape victims are usually boys, who's preditor can vary from there own mothers, teachers, and strangers. Many have made the claim that boys that have been raped have enjoyed the event, which is invalid because even if they did enjoy it, it is still not consent, and minors who are raped cannot give consent because they do not know any better. However, if the victim does like it, they should not be blamed for it because sex is too be pleasing, and it is still the woman's fualt for taking advantage of a minor. But despite these claims, many of the male rape victims may not enjoy it, because the women may threaten, beat, hurt, or make them uncomfortable during the event. Women have no excuse for raping a male minor as men have no excuse for raping a female minor. Male or female, the predator must be brought to justice.

Although a majority of male rape victims are minors, it is not impossible for a female to rape a grown man. A common way to rape a male is to drug them, or assualt them as they sleep, especially if they are drunk. Or, if the male is injured, then she could easily take advantage of him. Whether he likes it or not, the woman still assaulted him, because he did not give her consent. Rape is rape, even if the victim is silent. Many people may claim that the male should have been more alert, or that the male should have not been drunk. This is called victim blaming. While the situation could have been avoided if he did not get drunk, the rape is still rape, especially since the women took advantage of his dicision. Drunkenness is not a crime that the man committed, and he is a human being no matter how immature or uncareful he is. Drunk or not, he does not deserve to be raped. No human being does.

Another form of the raping of men is homosexual rape. A male can overpower a male, and the predator can use almost any scheme to get his hands on the victim.

Although the main issues on the subject of rape are on women, and have females as the usual victims, I am writing this article for people who make the fantasy that rape only hurts females, not males. Anyone can be victims of rape, no matter what gender, race, or background.
