Merge and other changes

[edit]

merged stub articles for "Children of the Sea" and "Heaven and Hell (Black Sabbath song)" back into this article — articles aren't really needed for each song — then reorganized, and added stuff. Hopefully this doesn't enrage anyone. / edg 23:13, 29 October 2007 (UTC)[reply]

Bassline

[edit]

Corrected the part about the bassline, as the verse bassline is essentially the same as that of "Mainline Riders". Listen to the clip on Allmusic from Quartz's compilation Satan's Serenade and it should be pretty obvious. Alternatively, if you've never listened to any Quartz, you're not exactly qualified to comment. I check pages listed in Category:Pages with incorrect ref formatting to try to fix reference errors. One of the things I do is look for content for orphaned references in wikilinked articles. I have found content for some of Heaven and Hell (Black Sabbath album)'s orphans, the problem is that I found more than one version. I can't determine which (if any) is correct for this article, so I am asking for a sentient editor to look it over and copy the correct ref content into this article.

I apologize if any of the above are effectively identical; I am just a simple computer program, so I can't determine whether minor differences are significant or not. AnomieBOT 14:26, 4 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The blog that is being referred to as a possible use in copyright violation, is in actuality a copy of the wikipedia article! Not the other way around. — Preceding unsigned comment added by 50.96.219.135 (talk) 19:08, 10 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

The blog predates the appearance of the relevant material on this article (4 November 2012 [2]). The article at the time the blog was written bears no resemblance to the blog. Bretonbanquet (talk) 19:24, 10 November 2012 (UTC)[reply]

Comparison to Van Halen's 1984

[edit]

I thought it might be worth mentioning that I deleted a statement in the article's "Artwork" section which implied that Van Halen's choice of cover art on 1984 was inspired by Heaven and Hell's. If someone can verify this, great. Until then, though, the comparison seem inappropriately speculative for an encyclopedia entry. — Preceding unsigned comment added by A7592 (talkcontribs) 06:23, 24 February 2013 (UTC)[reply]
